Description - This is a Vintage Official National League Warren Giles President Baseball autographed back in the beginning of 1970 season by 29 members of the 1970 New York Mets including 8 deceased members of the team. Those 8 are Gil Hodges, Tug McGraw, Donn Clendenon, Tommie Agee, Cal Koonce, Don Cardwell, Joe Foy, and Ed Yost. Also on the ball are Hall of Famers Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, and Yogi Berra. The other signatures include Jerry Koosman, Jim McCandrew, Dave Marshall, Ron Taylor, Al Weis, Ed Kranepool, Gary Gentry, Bud Harrelson, Art Shamsky, Joe Pignatano, Wayne Garrett, Ken Boswell, Duffy Dyer, Ray Sadecki, Ron Swoboda, Mike Jorgensen, Joe Foy, and Jerry Grote. Every signature on the ball is of a member of the 1969 World Series Championship team with the exception of a couple of the signatures. It is very rare to find a team signed New York Mets baseball with Gil Hodges on it as he passed away during Spring Training of the 1972 season at the age of 47. The ball is in great condition, especially for being over 40 years old. This comes with a JSA Full Letter Certificate of Authenticity
